We like to think of ourselves as ethical individuals and indeed most of us are. In a vacuum, it’s easy to say to ourselves, “of course, I’d tell them exactly what’s wrong and why.” but what happens when you’re put into a position where situational pressures and political pressures are mounting? Would you trade in your ethics for a chance at increasing your professional clout and gaining acceptance with a group you admire?
