Disagreements are bound to occur in the workplace, whether they be as simple as what to eat for lunch or as complex as navigating an important project where multiple stakeholders have varying priorities. It is how we deal with these conflicts that impacts our relationships and the way we work. Sometimes, it’s as easy as sitting down with the other person, one-on-one, and talking it out. Other times, a situation may call for a third party to help facilitate the conversation. Now and through the current academic year, staff members have access to a no-cost mediator to help navigate these difficult situations.
