Each year during Black History Month, the African American Faculty/Staff Association (AAFSA) recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions in service to UCO and its African American community. This year’s recipient of AAFSA’s Dr. Judith Wakefied You Made A Difference Award is Academic Advisement Center Assistant Director Stephanie Driver for her 32 years of leadership, vision and dedication to UCO.

Shout out to Beatriz Garcia Bertrand, information specialist for the Physical Plant, for always going above and beyond. Her excellent work and attitude make UCO a better place. Beatriz Garcia Bertrand has been working with multiple Campus Enterprise departments in streamlining FAMIS. She has done the bulk of the work and the results are great!
