Did you know that Paycom offers tools to help screening committees communicate their notes on candidates? You can now rate candidates as well as make notes in a candidate’s application for other screening committee members to review.
To rate a candidate, all you need to do is go to their application in Paycom. Once in the application, you will notice 5 dots next to the candidate’s name. If you hover over these dots, it will show you the different star ratings that range from not interested to highly interested. You also have the option of assigning a colored flag to the candidate’s application.
Screening committee members are also given the ability to write notes within the candidate’s application. The notes are to be used to write down aspects about the candidate that you think would make them a good fit (or not a good fit). For example, “Buddy Broncho would be a good fit for the role of manager because Buddy has the MBA degree listed in the preferred qualifications.”
Keep in mind these notes are permanent and they are reviewed by Human Resources on a weekly basis.
