UCO’s Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR) is proud to announce the completion of our short film, More Than a Degree: UCO’s Student Transformative Learning Record.

This documentary / corporate-style film tells the history and genesis of the Transformative Learning framework on our campus, how STLR was built, how STLR is impacting students, and how it is continuing to spread, both on our campus, and to campuses around the world. It is the culmination of a STLR-funded Transformative Learning Student Project, supervised by Mr. Mark Scott, Instructor, UCO Department of Mass Communications, and carried out by undergraduate students, Mr. Kyle Tangco and others.

A virtual premiere aired on Thursday, 27 August 2020 at 2:00 pm for the Oklahoma City metropolitan area audience, then a wider release took place Wednesday, 28 October 2020 at 10:00 am CDT (UTC -5). Both included an introduction by Dr. Jeff King a viewing of the film, and then a short discussion with panelists. View the film trailer by clicking the image above, and view the full film below!
