(Oklahoma City) – The Oklahoma State Election Board released annual voter registration statistics today showing 2,272,252 Oklahomans are registered to vote. Oklahoma’s official voter registration statistics are counted every year on January 15.

Many Oklahoma seniors have yet to take an admissions test or apply for college as they begin their final semester in high school.
“I know it has everything to do with the pandemic,” said Christopher Lynch, vice president for enrollment and student success at the University of Central Oklahoma.
COVID-19 put students out of the classroom and parents out of work. It severely limited access to the ACT college admissions test and gutted the traditional college campus experience.
Gov. Kevin Stitt wants the state to live within its means in the state budget he has proposed for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
Stitt on Monday unveiled his executive budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year — an $8.3 billion budget that includes socking away $300 million in state savings accounts.
