Creating a Plan to Pay for College

One of the most common questions that we get from incoming students and parents is “how much is this going to cost?”  and the next question is often “how are we going to pay for this?” While the cost of paying for college can be overwhelming, there are a few things that you can do to help lessen the stress of coming up with the overall cost.

Scholarship Tips and Tricks

One of the most important things students have to determine is how they are going to pay for college. Scholarships can be used to help pay down your cost of college meaning that less funding will come from your pocket. Internal scholarships are scholarships awarded by UCO or the UCO Foundation and anything else is considered an external scholarship. External scholarships are awarded by outside organizations that you may be apart of such as your church or tribe, employers that pay toward employee or dependent college costs, or even organizations such as your local Lions club or community foundations like the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
