Information Technology News
August 29, 2019
The new academic year has begun and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is here to help you be successful. We are available to provide support, answer questions, train, and provide you with all the tools you need to kick off a great new academic year. Our Back 2 School events are a great way to meet the team and get a head start.
Here are some of the events where you can find volunteers from OIT supporting activities and connecting with students:
- Housing Resource Fair
- International Student Technology Orientation
- Wake Up in Wantland
- FORGE Student Involvement Fair
- Student Technology Orientation Sessions
Full-time and adjunct faculty are also encouraged to engage with OIT’s Technology Resource Center (TRC). Primarily focused on orientations and training, the TRC is here to ensure that faculty are aware of the technology resources available AND how to use them. These are a few of the events where members of the TRC could be spotted:
- Adjunct Technology Orientation
- Faculty and Staff Convocation
- After Hours D2L Training
- Come and Go Training Hours
- New Faculty Technology Orientation
During these events and throughout the year, the Office of Information Technology highlights key information helpful to any new student, faculty or staff member. That information can all be found highlighted on a welcome website. Check out ITWelcome.uco.edu.
If you have questions or need some assistance, we are happy to serve.
