UCO Masters of Public Administration advisory board chair S.E. Puett has been selected to serve as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practitioner for NASA’s Astrophysics Division Inclusion Panel to review scientific proposals and plans that ensure awareness and accessibility to opportunities for creating sustainable organizational development for NASA’s growing team of diverse talent.

“I am grateful to be able to support NASA’s proactive efforts to challenge ‘the way we’ve always done it,’ analyze assumptions, avoid stagnant generational workforce patterns and expand my own learning from the expert knowledge of my colleagues to ensure the next generation of innovators are provided a safe place to sandbox, create and develop our future,” Puett said.

S.E. was selected among thousands of candidates for their work in architecting several Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and modernizing the organizational development of agencies and communities across the State of Oklahoma as well as a national DEI program serving more than 20,000 users. S.E. is rooted in a public service career spanning 20 years in state government, education, corrections, advisory boards and non-profit leadership and is a senior consultant for global Big 4 firm Pricewaterhouse Cooper.

“This opportunity is both an honor and a privilege that I don’t take lightly,” Puett said. “I understand the assignment and am committed to NASA’s mission to drive advancements that leave people, places and things better than when they found them.”
