Congratulations to CLA major Grace Wray for taking part in the first-ever virtual “Posters on the Hill” on April 21, 2020, and kudos to her mentor, Dr. Jessica Sheetz-Nguyen! Posters on the Hill is the nation’s premier advocacy event hosted by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Each year about 60 student researchers and their mentors are selected to travel to Washington, DC, to present their research on Capitol Hill and to meet with elected representatives in order to stress the importance of federal funding for undergraduate research. This year Oklahoma was represented by Grace Wray and Dr. Jessica Sheetz-Nguyen. Visit the Posters on the Hill website to learn more about the event and to see the presentation abstracts.
