UCO Liberal Art Lecturer Elected President of Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communication Association

At the annual conference of the Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communication Association (OSTCA) in Lawton, Liberal Arts lecturer David Duty, Ph.D., was elected as Vice President-elect for 2019. In 2020 he will move up to Vice President/Conference Planner, and then to President in 2021.
Dr. Duty is a faculty mentor with UCO’s Hispanic Success Initiative (HSI). HSI was the second-place winner of the Masonic Endowment for Transformative Learning Award at the Faculty/Staff Fall Forum. The award is given to organizations that exemplify the university’s commitment to provide transformative learning experiences to its students.
