Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is a freshman musical theatre major from Altus, Oklahoma. He graduated with the class of 2022. Daniel is excited to be making his entrance into UCO Musical Theatre with “The New Broncho Showcase: This is Our Story.” Some of Daniel’s previous roles include: Cornelius Hackle (Hello Dolly), Jack Kelly (Newsies), Charlie Brown (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), and Bert Healy (Annie). Daniel would like to thank his family for supporting him and giving him the courage to become who he is today.

Baily Hill

Baily Hill

Baily Hill is a transfer musical theatre student from Mckinney, Texas. She is thrilled to be part of “The New Broncho Showcase: This is Our Story.” Her previous credits include: Belle (Beauty and The Beast), Catherine (Pippin), and Cosette (Les Miserables). She is so grateful to her family for their unwavering support and to the entire UCO musical theatre faculty for providing her so many opportunities.

Alex B. Mullings

Alex B. Mullings

Alex B. Mullings is a new MT transfer! Some of their past performances include: Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Mother Superior (Sister Act), The Chaperone (The Drowsy Chaperone), Miss Andrew (Mary Poppins), Matron “Mama” Morton (Chicago), Woman 2 (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change), Marcy Park (Spelling Bee), and New Wave Girl (Heathers). They made their UCO MT debut last spring as part of the chorus and beggar woman understudy in (Sweeney Todd). They will also be in in the ensemble (The Wedding Singer) at UCO in late September. They would like to thank Kassie, Stephanie, and the class of 2026 for being absolute dreams to work with!

James Coplen

James Coplen

James Coplen is so excited to be a musical theatre major at UCO! A huge fan of the program, James is ready to make his Broncho debut. His previous credits include: Jimmy Ray Dobbs (Bright Star) and Donkey (Shrek). In addition to theatre, James is a founding member of the OKC-based band “The Confused.” Playing piano since the age of 5, he is a multi-instrumentalist with 5+ instruments under his belt. James would like to thank his new MT family for accepting him with open arms. “Roll Chos’!”

Madelyn Arriola

Madelyn Arriola

Madelyn Arriola is a freshman musical theatre major from Elm, Texas, and is elated to be making her UCO debut in “The New MT Broncho Showcase: This Is Our Story.” Some favorite roles of hers have been Vanessa (In The Heights), Serena (Legally Blonde: The Musical), and Lucy the Dog (The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane). She has been featured in a “BroadwayWorld” (Dallas) article promoting her performing company’s production of “In The Heights.” Madelyn would like to thank Kassie Carroll Downey and the whole of the UCO faculty for this wonderful opportunity, her family for their endless support, and her always-encouraging cast and crew for making this experience so magical.

Lillie Taylor

Lillie Taylor

Lillie Taylor is a freshman musical theatre major from Independence, Kansas. She is thrilled to be making her UCO performance debut in “The New MT Broncho Showcase: This Is Our Story.” Some of Lillie’s past credits include Billie Bendix (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Dorothy Gale (The Wizard Of Oz), & Laurey Williams (Oklahoma). She received the 2022 Music Theatre Wichita Jester Award and Scholarship for her portrayal of Katherine Plumber (Newsies). She would like to thank Greg White and the rest of the UCO MT family for allowing her to be a Broncho. She is also grateful to her parents for their overwhelming support.

Elliana Herr

Elliana Herr

Elliana Herr is a freshman musical theatre major from Boca Raton, Florida. She is beyond excited to be a part of “The New MT Broncho Showcase: This Is My Story.” Some of Elliana’s past credits include: Dance Captain/Ensemble (Urinetown), Dance Captain/Ensemble (Sister Act), Dance Captain/Ensemble (Urinetown) and Dance Captain/Cha Cha (Grease). She has been awarded female best dancer at the Cappie Awards and best ensemble actress at The Dream Awards. She would like to thank her family for their support, and the cast, crew and staff for all their hard work.

Sara Draper

Sara Draper

Sara Draper made her UCO debut last spring, playing Yvette in the mainstage production of “Clue.” Sara is grateful for the opportunity to be sharing her passion for art with such talented people. She would like to thank her parents for their constant love and support and the UCO Theatre Arts and Musical Theatre faculty for providing her with so many wonderful opportunities! You can see Sara in UCO’s upcoming production of “The Wedding Singer.” Enjoy the show!

Noah Cochran

Noah Cochran

Noah Cochran is a transfer to the UCO Musical Theatre program. He is so excited to be performing in “The New Broncho Showcase: This Is Our Story” with such a talented group of people. He made his UCO debut as the Beadle Understudy (Sweeney Todd) last semester. His previous credits include: Billy Cane (Bright Star), for which he was nominated for a Kelli O’Hara award, Mr. Mushnik (Little Shop Of Horrors) and Callahan (Legally Blonde). He would like to thank his family for their constant love and support, Greg White and Kassie Carrol Downey for the chance to study what he loves most. “Don’t be it – DREAM IT!” – The Rocky Horror Show

Turner Tecmire

Turner Tecmire

Turner Tecmire is a freshman musical theatre major from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Turner is making her UCOMT debut in this showcase! Some of her favorite roles have been Donna Sheridan (Mamma Mia), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz) and Sarah Brown (Guys & Dolls). Turner won a National Youth Arts Award for best-supporting actress in a musical in 2021 as Marie/Fairy Godmother (Cinderella). She also placed 8th in the nation for Musical Theatre in high school the same year. Turner would like to thank the entire cast and crew for making her first UCO production so special and her parents for supporting this wild dream of hers!

Grant William Galloway

Grant William Galloway

Grant William Galloway is a freshman this year majoring in musical theatre. Hailing just a short two-hour drive from his hometown, Grant graduated from Broken Arrow High School in May of 2022. He was a member of Broken Arrow’s nationally ranking show choir, Tiger Rhythm, and also participated in a handful of school musicals. Among some of his proudest credentials, Galloway’s resume features productions such as 2 years of Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Bootcamp,  Danny Zuko (Grease), and Billy Flynn (Chicago). Grant has also been awarded best performer at the Keller Texas Show Choir Invitational and the Kristin Chenoweth Excellence award at his high school. Although UCO was one of his top choices for a college education, with its growing reputation, opportunity, and offer of musical theatre via a BM as opposed to a BFA, Grant has stated that this program is more life-changing than he could have ever imagined. He’s eager to make his UCO debut in today’s show and cannot wait for the years to come.

Kaia Crawford

Kaia Crawford

Kaia Crawford is a freshman musical theatre performance major from Moore, Oklahoma. She is thrilled to be showcased in the incoming transfers and freshman showcase this year. Some of Kaia’s past credits include Pam Roebucker (Bottom of lake Missoula), Marcy Park, (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Megan Jones, (Puffs) and Sala Garncarz, (Letters to Sala). At the Oklahoma One-Act Competition at Tulsa’s Union High School, Kaia won best leading actress for her performance of Pam Roebucker. Kaia is grateful to be here and would like to thank all her supporters along the way. She can’t wait to spend the next four years learning and growing as an artist.

Avery Murphy

Avery Murphy

Avery Murphy is a freshman from Allen, Texas, and she is extremely excited to be a part of the showcase experience. Some of her favorite roles she has portrayed are Lavender (Matilda), Ermengarde (Hello, Dolly) and Gertrude in (Seussical). One of her favorite shows she’s done has been “Hope in the Heartland,” an original and professional Christmas musical originating from Texas. Avery is thankful for this unique compilation of iconic pop and theatre songs and would love to acknowledge the hard work put in by the cast, crew and directors.

Elaina Lanthripe

Elaina Lanthripe

Elaina Lanthripe is a junior transfer from Moore, Oklahoma. She previously studied vocal performance, and is so grateful to be making her UCO debut as a musical theater student in “The New Bronchos Showcase: This is Our Story.” She is a student of Dr. Danielle L. Harrington, and she won first place for underclassmen women in music theater in NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition in 2022. Some of Elaina‘s most memorable past credits include Cosette (Les Miserables), Babette (Beauty and the Beast) and sharing the stage with her father in “Mamma Mia!” She would like to thank her parents, sister, and boyfriend for forever supporting and encouraging her to pursue her dreams. “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return”

Nathan Bosworth

Nathan Bosworth

Nathan Bosworth is making his grand debut at UCO as a musical theater major with “The New Broncho Showcase: This is Our Story!” Regional theater: Alex (A conversation about nothing)(Alex), Beasts (Theseus), Coachella valley repertory theater, Les Miserables (Jolly), Palm Canyon theater. Other credits include: Shrek the musical, Lion King the Musical, Into The Woods, Chicago, A Christmas Carol, The Crucible, The Drowsy Chaperone, SpongeBob: the musical. Nathan is excited to work with a whole new cast at UCO, and would love to thank them for this new chapter of life!
