About

Peak is a modern grid based WordPress theme, boasting a masonry grid that adapts to any screen size or device thrown at it. The grid auto-populates, but you have full control of any new tiles you want to put in there. Add cards to highlight different categories, authors, testimonials, pages – or just about anything else you can imagine.

Time to Catch Some Z’s

Being a college student can be exhausting. But have no fear, World Sleep Day is here!

Friday, March 15 is World Sleep Day; is there a better way to start your weekend with a nice relaxing day of catching up on some Z’s? It’s also a day to remind all of us of the importance of sleep to our overall health and wellbeing.

The UCO Health Promotion Office is helping the UCO community prepare for World Sleep Day with an event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, March 11. Swing by the Nigh University Center Food Court area to learn about the importance of sleep, how it can impact your academics and how much sleep you actually need. You can even score your very own sleep kit (while supplies last).

However, if you can’t make it to World Sleep Day and need to take a quick cat nap on campus, here are some recommendations from some fellow Bronchos for the best places to nap on campus.

  • Thatcher Hall Study Area Couches
  • Library Bean Bags
  • Hammocks by the Quad
  • Liberal Arts Building
    • Study Desks
    • Hallway Benches
  • Old North Study Rooms
  • Business Building
    • Benches on the Second Floor
  • NUC, Couch on the Second Floor

Sweet dreams, Bronchos!
