About

Peak is a modern grid based WordPress theme, boasting a masonry grid that adapts to any screen size or device thrown at it. The grid auto-populates, but you have full control of any new tiles you want to put in there. Add cards to highlight different categories, authors, testimonials, pages – or just about anything else you can imagine.

Connect to Central: Get Involved!

One of the best ways to make the most of your time at Central is to get involved. We’ve got more than 200 student organizations, so there’s something for everyone.

But how do we find out about all of these organizations?

Great question! At the Student Involvement Fair, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 22, 2018 around Broncho Lake (or in the Nigh University Center Ballrooms if there’s rain), a wide variety of Central’s student organizations will be on display to showcase what they’ve got to offer and to answer any questions you may have.

You also can explore all of UCO’s student organizations via OrgSync. Just log in with your UCONNECT username and password and you’re good to go!

What about Greek Life?

Central has more than 20 organizations that are a part of the Panhellenic, Interfraternity, National Pan-Hellenic or Unified Greek Councils. Joining Greek Life allows you to participate in service, philanthropy and civic engagement; helps you achieve academic excellence in your journey toward a degree; builds leadership skills; and develops relationships among each organization and across the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.

You can learn more information about all of Central’s chapters in this year’s viewbook. If you’re interested in registering for Greek Life recruitment, you can register here. The first deadline for applications is 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018.

Have questions? Contact Central’s Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at fsl@uco.edu or 405-974-2580.

If you’d like to learn more ways you can get involved on campus, visit Central’s Student Life page.
