The University of Central Oklahoma College of Business Student Success Center partnered with the men’s UCO Hockey Team to host professional hockey player, Rocco Grimaldi, of the National Hockey League (NHL) team, Nashville Predators, and American Hockey League (AHL) team, Milwaukee Admirals, in a virtual Zoom event, Jan. 31. Originally from League City, Texas, Clayton Matthew Petty (“Matt”) was not interested in attending college while in high school. As he neared high school graduation, his career counselor encouraged him to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. Petty decided to join the Air Force and spent four years as an aircraft mechanic.
