Dean’s Advocacy Board: Meet Steve Potts

Steve Potts, First Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, MidFirst Bank

Steve Potts serves as the first executive vice president and chief information officer for MidFirst Bank. Potts joined MidFirst in 2006 and has served in several roles at the bank since.

Potts is responsible for technology and security, as well as disaster recovery/business continuity and supplier management operations. Prior to joining MidFirst, he was the manager of field systems for The Hertz Corporation.

Potts is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and management information systems (MIS), as well as a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance, MIS and human resources.

In addition to the University of Central Oklahoma College of Business Dean’s Advocacy Board, Potts has served and is currently serving on numerous non-profit and professional boards.
