Lance LaGere, President and Chief Operating Officer, National American Insurance Company (NAICO)
As president and chief operating officer, Lance LeGere serves as a key member of the senior management team for National American Insurance Company (NAICO) where he directs business operations and oversees the development of the company’s goals for future growth.
Prior to serving as president, LaGere held the title of executive vice president and chief operating officer for NAICO, where he analyzed the company’s overall operations and implemented structured plans to increase productivity and achieve positive results.
LaGere plays a significant role in most major accomplishments at NAICO. He was instrumental in improving the company’s AM Best financial strength rating to A, and he has led the team to double their revenue and triple their total capital base. As a result, NAICO is now consistently recognized as one of the top 50 performing P&C insurance companies in the nation by Ward’s Benchmarking Service. These achievements have opened many doors for opportunity and have resulted in much success for the company.
Before joining NAICO, LaGere began his career as a licensed insurance producer. He found his niche in the insurance industry by successfully building his customer base and ranking in the top 1% of 1,200+ producers for new business production.
LaGere holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management from the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife Candace (director of business development for NAICO) have been married for 20 years. They have a son, Ethan (16), and a daughter, Paris (14), and they are proud to call Oklahoma City home.
