Dean’s Advocacy Board: Meet Dan Ross

Dan Ross, Vice President of Private Sector, GovSourcing

Dan Ross is the vice president of Public Sector for GovSourcing, one of the country’s elite public consulting firms specializing in contracting and operations. Based out of Washington D.C., Ross spends much of his time focused on how to better improve partnerships between the public and private sector. 

Prior to joining GovSourcing, Ross worked for the State of Oklahoma as the administrator of capital assets. In this role, he oversaw many of the state’s general services operations and served on numerous boards and commissions.

During his 14 years in government, Ross represented Oklahoma on the national stage at the National Association of State Chief Administrators. Through this organization, he worked alongside Harvard’s Leadership for a Networked World and other top level programs specializing in public sector development.

Ross holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. He and his wife have two young daughters and enjoy staying active in local events and programs.
