UCO Alumni Establish Scholarships for Business Students

In our 2021-22 College of Business annual report, we selected three of our business alumni to spotlight for their leadership and commitment to our students, programs, college and university. Please join us in thanking Keith Kersten, executive vice president and chief lending officer at First Enterprise Bank; Chris Cline, owner and operator of Cline Construction, Handmade Homes, NewCon Flooring, JDC Development, ABC Title and NewCon Siding; and, Jason Clark, President and CEO at CompSource Mutual Insurance Company, for their outstanding contributions to the UCO College of Business.

Paying it Forward to Help Working Students

Keith KerstenKeith Kersten, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, First Enterprise Bank

In support of business students working to fund their education, Keith Kersten, executive VP and chief lending officer at First Enterprise Bank, established the First Enterprise Bank and First United Bank Scholarships for students pursuing majors in accounting and finance. Not only has Kersten established scholarships, but he is also a mentor to students in our 2BLeaders program and a member of the Dean’s Advocacy Board.

Encouraging the Next Generation of Business Leaders

Chris Cline

Chris Cline, Owner and Operator, Cline Construction

Business entrepreneur, Chris Cline, created the Cline Family Endowed Scholarship for a junior or senior 2BLeader student who has an interest in real estate, construction and/or design. Cline owns multiple real estate construction and development businesses in the OKC metro area.

Attracting and Investing in Top Talent

Jason ClarkJason Clark, President and CEO, CompSource Mutual Insurance Company

President and CEO of CompSource Mutual Insurance Company, Jason Clark, established the CompSource Mutual Endowed Scholarship to give back to the Department of Finance and provide for business students interested and considering a career in the insurance industry.
