Get to Know Morgan Walls

We are excited to introduce you to the new accounting and accounting certificate advisor, Morgan Walls. Along with the other student success advisors, Morgan also advises general business and undecided business majors.

Tell us about yourself.

I am a married mom with three sweet kids. I am a two-time UCO graduate, first receiving my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education in 2013 and then receiving my master’s degree in Adult and Higher Education – Talent Development in the fall of 2021. I taught elementary education for five years before realizing that I also enjoyed teaching and working with adults.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I enjoy reading, cooking and crafting. I knit and crochet baby clothes and love to paint. I am also a huge Harry Potter fan, which you will notice if you visit my office.

Why did you choose to work at UCO?

I chose to work at UCO because I loved being a student here and thought it would be fun to be a part of such a great institution. I am a proud Broncho at heart!

What do you hope to accomplish in working with students?

My goal in working with students is to help them reach their goals by helping to guide them to the finish line. I have always enjoyed helping students reach their goals, and student advisement is a great way to do what I enjoy while making a positive difference in the lives of others.
