Alchemy

Exhibit Dates: August 27-September 17, 2015
Opening Reception: August 27, 2015 | 4-7 p.m.

Alchemy is defined as a seemingly magical process of transformation. This exhibition features the work of current faculty and recent alumni of the University of Central Oklahoma’s Art Department in conjunction with UCO’s 125th anniversary. Each faculty member was given the opportunity to choose an alumnus to pair with for this exhibition. These works of art highlight the breadth of technical skills, creativity, materials and processes that each artist uniquely applies to create a masterful piece. We hope this exhibition demonstrates our commitment to support student work, celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni and recognize each faculty member’s lifelong commitment to inspire new generations of makers. . . .  read more
