Dear CLA Faculty and Staff,
The semester is ending. How strange that seems! The regular activities of the College are proceeding apace, as final exams wrap up, grades are submitted, and we roll toward summer course offerings.
And yet, everything has changed. We cannot celebrate the year’s end, the graduation of so many students, or the send-offs . . .
We are putting a bow on the 2018-19 Academic Year, with final grades being calculated and intersession about to begin.
I will soon depart for my semi-annual Study Tour, Europe à la Mode, that takes both Liberal Arts and Fashion Marketing students to Florence, Paris, and London in an admittedly whirlwind fashion. Some College business to advance back . . .

Try to remember, and then let’s get on with it! September is chock full of activity in the College and while a slow and mellow life might be pleasant, we are already into the swing of the Fall semester. And that’s a good thing.
