Joshua York (BS 2010, MS 2014) has successfully defended his PhD thesis in the Department of Biology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. David Bass, Professor of Biology, is the recipient of the 2020 Oklahoma Medal for Excellence in Teaching at Regional Universities and Community Colleges. Dr. Toby FitzSimons, who worked with Dr. Bidlack on photovoltaic solar cells (MS from UCO in 2010) and went on to complete a PhD at the University of Arkansas, has been working as a Senior Research Scientist at PepsiCo after receiving his doctorate.
