The National Issues Forum Institute is sponsoring an debate hosted by Saint Mary’s College of California titled A Constitutional Symposium: Religious Liberty and LGBTQ+ Rights. Hosted on September 19, the symposium center around the ongoing debate and controversy over religious exceptions to anti-discrimination laws made to protect LGBTQ+ individuals. The symposium will feature three experts in the field of constitutional law:
Robin Wilson, Director of the Institute of Governmenet and Public Affairs for the University of Illinois
Elizabeth Clark, Professor and Associate Director of the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University
And Kyle Velte, Associate Professor of Law at the University of Kansas School of Law
