Adam Ledbetter Ensemble Headlines Sunday Concert in Edmond

Adam Ledbetter is often known as the keyboard-ripping, beat-boxing, harmonizing rapper half of OKC’s dynamic musical duo Adam + Kizzie. Oklahoma City also knows Adam as the premiere go-to jazz pianist and a teacher of Hip Hop Production II at ACM@UCO.

He is rooted in the history and vocabulary of jazz, making him a refreshingly authentic and major player in OKC.

Sunday, he leads an A-list ensemble for an evening of music at UCO Jazz Lab in Edmond.

“You can expect it to be swinging, soulful, sweet, salty, spiritual, cerebral, syntactically sound and celebratory,” he said of Sunday’s show. The event is hosted by Deep Deuce Jazz OKC.

Previously, he toured Oklahoma and Europe when he was with the University of Central Oklahoma’s Jazz Band, and later founded his own (well sought-after) jazz quartet, “New Growth.”
