You got yourself a new iPad! So a question that you are probably asking yourself is, “how can I get the most out of my device?”, or more specifically, “how can I use my iPad’s capabilities to boost my productivity as a student?”
Below I have compiled a list of my top 5 favorite iPad apps for productive students.
.Forget about getting that laptop out. With the “Pages” application, from Apple, you are able to complete text/word documents in little to no time at all. You are also able to send these files via e-mail as well as word docs, PDF’s or pages docs right within the app, so no jumping around to the mail app and back. You can also upload your saved files in to MS Word! This app will cost you $10 but be worth every penny. It comes complete in iWork office suite.
“Numbers” is by far the best spreadsheet application for a mobile device. There are over 250 easy to use functions, an intelligent keyboard, flexible tables and not to mention the interface is esthetically pleasing. There are 16 templates already programmed into the application that you can add onto or simply plug in data for a great looking worksheet. This application is great for accounting students, students working on a budget and anyone that’s looking to conveniently mobilize their productivity.
“Dropbox” is the easiest way to sync your files online and across computers, and also share them with other users. Now you will never need to keep track of a flash/jump drive! With Dropbox you simply upload/download documents from the Dropbox Cloud. Practice a PowerPoint speech on your way to class, e-mail or share a files on the go and/or Sync downloaded files so they’re up to date. A Must have application!
Developed exclusively for iPad, “IBooks” is a great way to download and read books. “IBooks” includes IBookstore where you are able to find and download almost any book. Another cool aspect of having the IBooks application on your Ipad is the ability to read at night. Best of all, the application is free!
“Sundry Notes” is the best rated Social Note client available for the iPad, in fact, at one time it was the #1 most downloaded Ipad Application. You will never have to worry about using and losing paper, with Sundry Notes all your files are able to sync your files with Amazon Cloud so if you loose your iPad you are still able to retain your notes. Boost your productivity with Sundry Notes!
.
Feel free to comment, give feedback or add a productive application to this list.

This was really helpful! I had no idea some of these apps were available! Like the ibooks..i’m so going to go download that now! I also didn’t know that you could sync your notes to Amazon Cloud to back them up. Thanks for the good information!
Excellent article. I had never heard of sundry notes, but now I am going to give it a try. Fully agree on the other choices.
