iPads are finding their way around Central. In less than a week from receiving our first shipment of 20, the Journalism department and ACM have requested iPads for check out. These innovators are looking for ways to provide transformative learning for their students using the latest technology – - technology that many of our students are already using: iPhones, iPods, Touches.
Office of Information Technology staff is on top of this technology, too. Loading files in iTunesU and learning how to write killer apps. Watch for developments!
Meanwhile, join us for Technology Discovery with iPads on Friday, April 30, 2010, in the Forensic Institute auditorium. Apple is providing an iPad for one lucky student who wins the contest by describing how iPads enhance learning at Central.
